Feast in the field through the years
This is my favorite Fall event. Every year it just gets better. The chefs have been fantastic, the speakers are entertaining, and it supports a mission near and dear to my heart. We are so fortunate to have an organization like this in our community.
We look forward to this event every Fall. The food is great, the company is fantastic and most importantly, we are supporting a wonderful organization in our community.

About Feast in the Field
The Big Picture
Signature Event
Feast in the Field is the Living Water Foundation’s signature fundraising event – an evening of good food, good people and greater purpose.
Held each fall, Feast brings our community together to celebrate the work of the Living Water Foundation Community Garden and raise the funds needed to keep that work growing.
Our Community Garden exists for a simple reason: to grow fresh food and give it away. Each season, volunteers plant, tend and harvest thousands of pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables that are provided to local food pantries and community partners. Through these partnerships, locally grown produce makes its way onto the tables of neighbors who may otherwise have limited access to fresh, healthy food.
Proceeds from Feast in the Field help sustain and expand the garden—from seeds, plants and equipment to infrastructure and future opportunities to increase our impact.
But Feast is about more than raising money. It is a celebration of community: the volunteers who work the soil, the businesses and organizations that support the mission, and the partners who help us get each harvest into the hands of people who need it.
Meet our special Guest: Jeremiah Farmer
We are thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Jeremiah Farmer as our special guest speaker for Feast in the Field 2026!
Jeremiah Farmer, Ph.D. is a farmer, storyteller, educator, and social media creator who has built a growing following by sharing the humor, wisdom, and traditions of Southern life. From gardening and raising food to old-fashioned sayings and stories from the front porch, Jeremiah has a gift for making people feel right at home.
Raised in the mountains of North Carolina and now making his home in South Carolina, Jeremiah brings together a love of agriculture, family, Southern culture, and storytelling. His practical farming and gardening content, served with plenty of humor and a familiar Southern drawl, has connected with thousands of followers across social media.
Jeremiah is also Director of Graduate Student Services in Clemson University’s College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences and recently earned his Ph.D. from Clemson, where his research explored the experiences and perceptions of Southern dialect speakers.
Whether he’s tending a garden, sharing a bit of Southern wisdom, or telling a story, Jeremiah celebrates the value of staying connected to the land, our traditions, and one another.
